2018 winner Adam Nicolson is the main speaker at the New Networks For Nature event
August 21, 2018
Adam Nicolson, the 2018 winner of the Wainwright Golden Beer Book Prize, is the main speaker at the upcoming New Networks For Nature event.
The New Networks For Nature is a charity that aims to promote the importance of our natural landscapes and to recognise the central role nature and landscape play in the cultural life of our country. They strive to challenge the low political importance placed on wildlife and nature and debate the key issues facing it.
Their events enable people of all backgrounds to express themselves creatively about nature and place.
This year’s tenth anniversary event will begin on the evening of the 15th of November with Nicolson in conversation with fellow seabird expert and co-founder of the New Networks For Nature, Tim Birkhead. They will be discussing his winning book, The Seabird’s Cry, and exploring the pressing issues facing our seabirds and the ways in which we can help to conserve these precious species.
The event takes place between the 15th to the 17th of November 2018 and tickets are available here:
